Genuine Leather inner shift boot. This is the inner cover, the cover under the shifter cover. It IS important to have this cover on the car and without any holes in it.

We made this cover because we were tired of the rubber inner shift boot always ripping. It doesn’t take very much to make it rip or get a hole. Once that happens, air from the engine compartment has a way to get into the car. Air makes it’s way from the engine compartment, down by the clutch, along the top of the drive shaft, up through the shifter area, then backwards towards the ash tray and into the car. The inner shift boot stops the hot air and gross smelling air coming from your engine to get into the car. Our genuine leather inner boot will stop the hot/smelly air from getting into the car, and is extremely strong, much, much stronger than the original rubber boot. Leather also withstands heat and flames incredibly well. The boot is designed to be easy to install and remove.
